Lisboa, Portugal

Lisboa, well what can we say? A super vibrant city, with lots of personality. The trams inching their way up the steep hills, be in for a hike and wear some comfortable shoes. The tiny streets and buildings are full of colorful tiles of all different shapes and sizes. Get yourself an espresso and a pestal de nata at the historic Cafe Brasileira and be inspired by the great poet Fernando Pessoa. Located next to the Baixa-Chiado metro stop on the green line.

Be aware of dealers trying to sell drugs. We simply just ignored them and didn't have any problems.

Take a trip on any of their trams. Tram 28 does a great trip around most of the historic locations, although plan early in the morning. As queues can get long. Most of the trams start around 6:00 am.
